QTR-Quadtone RIP

downloaded the osx 2.7 and when I try to print, qtr prints only few centimeters and then ejects the paper. My setup is snow leopard, quadr1800-uc, printing from cs4. I tried 13x19" paper and only 1 cm was printed, then the paper was ejected and printer tried to load another paper. My paper was eem. A4 size print was printed with few cm more, but the same thing happened. Also the default 1440x1440 super gave error in the print queue: can't set printer resolution. Setting res to 2880 started printing, but then ejected. Console doesn't  show any usb communication errors, as sometimes I've got in a similar partial print.

Hi Matti,

The "can't set printer resolution" thing sounds a lot like an old
printer Preset.
It's best if you write down the settings and create a new one from
scratch (i.e. Standard)
and Save it anew.   The only reason I've seen for partial prints in the past was
a communication issue.  In Console you should check error_log and system_log.
Fix the above stuff first.  When you get an error run DiagnosticScript and email
me the output.
