Fixes for QTR 2.7.0 on PC Windows

Fixes for QTR 2.7.0 on PC Windows

2010-04-07 by Roy

I've got fixes for both the Calibration Mode and the Color JPG issues.

Before issuing a new release I have these fixes as a patch:

http://www.quadtonerip.com/QTR2.7.0patch.zip

Download this zip file, extract both imagetoraster.exe and quadtoprinter.exe
Put both these files into:
          \\Program Files\QuadToneRIP\bin
replacing the existing ones.

Dear Roy,

Thanks for the quick response. However, I'm afraid that the issue is not completely solved yet. I've done several re-installations and experiments. There seems to be quite dependence on the source of the JPEG. The findings so far:

- Lightroom: JPEGs show correctly in QTRGUI preview window, however print too large
- Photoshop: JPEGs show and print correctly
- InDesign: JPEGs seem to be off all together, do not even show in preview window

Can you make sense out of this?

Unfortunately,eEspecially the Lightroom and InDesigns cases are the most relevant ones.

Joost

Hi Joost,

I'm out of town but I'll check when I get back next week.
In the meantime I don't have these programs on windows so can you
send me a small sample jpg from each and brief description of what happens.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
