how to install 2.7

how to install 2.7

2010-08-01 by Paul

Apologies if this has been covered earlier but my forum search didn't come up an answer: I am using 2.6.2.0 (that's the GUI module, the other modules vary, one module is all the way down to 2.3). Do I install 2.7 on top of my current installation or do I delete the old one first?

I've read of some bugs... I'm using Windows XP Pro and print tiffs generated by Photoshop Elements 6.0. I use Premier Art FineArt paper, an Epson R1800 using Eboni ink, with curves supplied by Paul Roark. Should I expect any issues?

My main reason for wanting to upgrade is so that I can use jpg files. That would be very useful.

Thanks all, and especially to you, Roy!

Paul

Just Install over the old one. Make sure you have copies of Paul's
curves (i.e. don't delete them).
