QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,

I'm just started with QTR and I have problem to print out inkseparation.tif in full color. I always comes out as grey. all 8 inks. I'm using Epson 7880 and trying to create QRT ICC profile for Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk.

Settings as follows:

Epson 7880 printer
Printing model: <Quad7880>

What do I do wrong?

QTR is for black & white printing only - does not handle color prints

Peter, you need to run the patch for 2.7. I can't find it any longer on the
quadtone rip site but I was able to get it last week and it solved the same
problem I was having on the 9600. Contact me off line if you don't get other
help.

You are probably doing nothing wrong. Your ink separation files should print all the colours, but there is a problem with 2.7

Roy has issued a patch in  April as below

"I've got fixes for both the Calibration Mode and the Color JPG issues.

Before issuing a new release I have these fixes as a patch:

http://www.quadtonerip.com/QTR2.7.0patch.zip

Download this zip file, extract both imagetoraster.exe and quadtoprinter.exe
Put both these files into:
\\Program Files\QuadToneRIP\bin
replacing the existing ones.
