Piezo K7 Warm/Neutral vs. Selenium curves question

Piezo K7 Warm/Neutral vs. Selenium curves question

2010-12-17 by ausdlk

I'm using an R1900 and Piezo MPS Warm Neutral inks.

The curves for matte paper that come with QTR, for example K7-2800-EpsonVelvetFineArt, do not have an ink type designation.

A custom curve I just received from Inkjetmall for Cone Type 5, there was a "WN" included the file name which implies that it is ink specific.

Are the matte curves NOT ink (i.e., Selenium vs. Warm Neutral) specific? Is this true of the glossy paper curves?

With the Selenium MPS inks I plan to order, will I be able to use the "WN" Type 5 curve or will I need a new custom Selenium specific curve?

Dave.

You ordered a custom and we get a little more name specific. That's all.

K7 curves work for all of the different K7 ink sets. You can use the same K7 curve for Selenium inks just as you can for the Warm Neutral inks.
