unable to print Quad4000, OS X

Hello, I'm using a G5 running OS X (10.5.4), and am unable to print using the Quad4000 RIP. After selecting print I open the print dialogue and it shows the print job at 17% completed and then it reads completed but nothing happens. I tried repairing permissions but that didn't help any. Has anyone experienced this before? Many thanks in advance. Rich
