The photo paper option would cover glossy paper. QTR is not intended for
use solely with the OEM inks, but also with third party inks (or even
primarily for third part inks), so although it may be problematic to use
the OEM inks and glossy paper on the R800, there may be other ink sets
available for the R800 which are compatible. For some other printers, eg
R2400 or 3880, the OEM inksets are usable with QTR and lustre or glossy
papers (provided the appropriate black ink is in place in the R2400).
Paper producer profiles are usually intended for use with the standard
Epson driver, not with QTR. Ideally you would produce your own custom
curves for the papers and ink you are using, and use these together with
the appropriate QTR ICC profile. Exactly how it all fits together varies
significantly depending on the operating system you are using.
