QTR & Linux

2011-11-22 by livingwithbugs@gmail.com

I suspect this has been discussed before but I could not find anything through search. Is there a version of QTR that runs under Linux? I currently use Gutenprint 5.x, and the MIS Eboni inks. The results are good but I'd like to give QTR a try to see what it offers.

BTW, If there are others that use the above combination I'd love to discuss details.

Thanks

QTR runs almost perfectly under wine. That's how I run it (Ubuntu 9.10
32bit).

QTR does not run natively on any of the Linuxes. So the "wine"
idea sounds like a good alternative.

I'm too running it under Wine on ubuntu 10.10 32bit. Good results - in
fact the only problem I have is with the guy clicking the mouse... ;-)

How times change - I remember the early days when the only way to use
QTR on a PC was to boot it into Linux!
