Human League- Reproduction/Travelogue

2005-11-29 by moogy

Hey all,

I'm looking at investing in a modular system and am tempted by
Analogue Systems. However I love the first two Human League albums and
I'm aware that they used either a System 100 or 100M, but I'm unsure
which.
Does anyone have any idea how an AS sysytem would compare sonically to
the Rolands ?

moogy.

I love those also and keep listening to them. They used both. Get a
Jupiter-4 also --the key to the arpeggios on "Morale" (1st part of
"Loving feeling") .Dunno about AS being close or not to the Rolands.
The 100M and 100 will get you that instant "early HL feeling". Lots
of the 100 in the Dignity of Labour, I think.
David

they used both ....\ufffd early Human league / the Future
is mainly sh 3, system 100, korg 800 dv....
Heaven 17 used both as well....In one studio photo of
HL you can see a wall of 100m...but the dense warm
aspects of reproduction, travelogue, the tom baker
single and the early EP (dignity of labor) is
primarily the original System 100...My favorite
I doubt very much that the AS has this sound...Also
look into SH 5 by roland and also those early sh1000,
2000s....I think HL used these too.

hello list,
i hve both the system 100 and the system 100m. after
listening to the two early human league
albums(reproduction and travelogue) many times, i can
too confirm that all those early synth sounds in these
albums were mostly made with the (very warm sounding)
roland system100, not the 100m.
best regards,
bakis.

... and Jupiter 4 arpeggios on Morale/You've lost that loving feeling. Or, could be a 184 keyboard, the functionality are similar.
