Hi, Is the 100M filter discrete or chip-based? Is the same design used in any other Roland synths? Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris, The filters are discrete, but based on Rolands custom BA662 chip. The same one is used in a few other Roland keys - SH2, SH101, MKS-30, Jupiter 4 and others. The BA662 is a transconductance amp. It is not a filter IC in itself, but a one of many descrete components that make up the filter circuit. It can also be found in VCA's, envelopes and other synth circuits. ac PS it's me thats selling the 121 PCB! On Sat, 05 Feb 2005 03:51:27 -0000, paradigmshiftbeats <paradigmshiftbeats@...> wrote:

--Nicholas....Salut You can try to send the kenton trigger to your vca and minimize or maximize its potency....I will often due this with my boss dr 55 and my system 104 sequencer which wants 12 - 15 volts (dr 55 only sends 5 v). I send the trigger from the dr55 to the module 130 and boost the gain.....you can also probably achieve similar results using the voltage processor. I hope this answers your question..... btw, does anyone have module 184 for sale? a plus sean __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - You care about security. Hello Sean,
thanks for your answer !!! I ask around me if someone
have a key 184 for sale ... I try to trigg the vca but
I think my problem is little bit different... because
it's about the synchronization of the arpeggio and the
arpeggio is independant on cv/gate... so I use the
"clock synchronization" of the pro kenton 2000 and the
"clock arpeggio" in the keyboards .. there is "a
synchronization" but the results is very but... what
can I do ? Is there someone else who used this
arpeggio 184 ? thanks a lot !!!!
