I just wanted to make a comment on this.

Yes the WAD is somewhat odd. It's a terrific resonant flanger. And
also a good short interval echo.
The fact that it can self-resonate means you have another audio source
at your disposal.
And the VC LPF 'conditioning' filter on it is pretty neat by iself, real
nice sounding to me.

Yes of course you can do flanging with an outboard unit but chances are
it won't sound this good, it surely won't be VC able, and it won't do
all the other strange tricks. I was listening to someone's Triton Rack
last night, we were playing around with its flanger, and imho it was not
as good as WAD.

I guess part of the problem is, it takes time to twiddle this stuff
out. I've spent a fair amount of time on it and I think there's more to
it still.
