I worked with Serge 1977-78. This was still the paperface period. We were phasing out the
original graphics which Serge thought were too confusing and getting into the middle period
graphics (which were easier to understand though didn't have a strong aesthetic like the later
period graphics did). Darrel would be able to put a date on the switch from paper to silkscreen.

FRS was not in the 1978 or 1982 catalogs, so it seems much too late for
that.
VCM was listed as new in the 1978 catalog. Was this still paperface era? A
rundown of the various Serge generations with photos would be a great
feature for Egres.
No RES or WAD in the 1978 catalog but they are both in the 1982 catalog.
