labels were used over fully punched out panels? Late 70s
through to early 80s modules seem to be in this style. I've also
seen photos of modules with these silver labelled modules
installed in older paper fronted panels as upgrades.
I'm not sure where the silk screening period fits in to this.

guess that would have been the silver labels or silk screen?
I think the VCM was a "third generation" module and was
available in the simplified mid period graphic style.
BTW , I noticed in the late 70s catalog that the "new"
Wave Multiplier module is shown as having two inputs
to the top section and only one to the bottom. This
seems like a much more useful arrangment in a small
system, as the top section could be used as a mixer as
well as a VCA in the lo setting - but I've never actually
seen a VCM like this. Anyone know if any were made
like this?
