living in Chicago, there's such a wealth of radio. There's the usual
corporate crapola, and NPR, and a sprinkling of university stations -
they're a riot, almost completely amateurish but totally fun. One is
WZRD ("the wizard") a low -power FM station near me that plays all
kinds of stuff. I even heard them play my band M.E.M.E. once while I
was driving to the grocery store. Fun!
We got that plus tons of ethnic stuff, Russian, Polish... there's even a
show that's (I think) Christian Evangelical in the !Kung language, the
one with all the tongue-clicking. and I thought *I* was surreal!!
