Having a couple hours here and there of something interesting to listen to, and even then on a haphazard basis, doesn't constitute "good radio". The statement stands. Portland doesn't have good radio. period. But we're getting OT here and i suspect it's my fault so i'll put a sock in this thread now. : )

Hey! What do you mean there's no good radio in Portland? Don't forget KBOO. Great
eclectic stuff. OK, I haven't lived there for 5 years, but I didn't think it had changed. My
wife's mother used to read the news, then later she had a stranger radio show in the 3am
time slot, "the next rest stop".
