I just went down to the local RadioShak (USA) and got a utility box, eight
1/4" jacks and eight 1/8" jacks. I had nine banana jacks sitting around
(the extra is for signal ground - don't forget that!) and some hookup wire
and solder. Presto a protocol converter (via somewhat potent magic).
