Thanks to everybody who chimed in. I have a much better picture of the problem. Rex
indicated that I without modification I would be unable to tilt-up the rack. I can see that
now - by comparing my two cases, the two brackets in the back of the STS case have been
shaved 1/16". I could use the case 'as is' if I was only interested in temporary transport.
And it is clear to see that you have to have a thinner chassis panel in the bottom position
because of the power connectors.
What about the two tilt arms with the locking teeth? My standard case uses pressure
knobs. Did SKB provide those as a custom option for STS? They are riveted in place.
I'm still interested if someone wants to sell one that came from STS.
