Again, it's all very personal to everyone's sonic head (as an example, Chas
Smith's mid-sized system had something like 25 VCOs, but they were essential
to the type of music he produces)..however you may find the other
envelope-type generators in the Serge product line of more use. The ADSRs
are fine instruments, but comparatively one trick ponies when stacked up
against the DTG or USG's. Serge made a niche for himself as one of the
first to focus on the module multi-functionality ...try to take advantage of
that as much as possible.

I also agree with John about the mixers. Oft overlooked because they don't
'do' a lot...like voltage processors, mixers are part of a small group of
utility modules that you'll kick yourself over when you patch yourself into
a corner without them. My system (again, reflecting 'my' thing) is
populated predominately by control generators and utility modules. I've got
six different types of VC filters which could be easily cut in half without
causing a hick-up and would be replaced with more processors, mixers and
random sources if removed. . Plus, I got a big kick out of the 'bum your
groove' line.

Things you may also wish to reconsider is having 2 each of the Wave
Multiplier Universal Audio Processors. Both very cool, but you may find one
of each enough.
