Thanks for the second opinion!

Does anyone have a XFAD that could attempt the same with? (feed it two audio signals and
a steep CV to see if it will do a hard jump-cut without audible "fading" between the
signals)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
