Hi,
Take an audio signal, could be the "s/h source" out of the Rand
Source, a signal from an osc, or a DTG clocked at audio rates.
Anything really, but those are safe bets. Anyhow, take this into the
IN jack of the stepped generator.
Now take the Gate Out of a DTG and patch that to Sample on the
Stepped Gen.
Turn the Rate knob all of the way up (CW). The light should start
blinking.
I think it may sometimes get stuck... rather, my brain gets stuck..
but I have a moment of freakout every once in a while. It usually
ends up being that the Rate knob is down and therefore the samples at
the input are not advancing.
