Hi,

The Serge gear I'm familiar with from the early '80s used only skinny
knobs (approx 12mm diameter, 1/8" shafts) which appear to be the
Davies 1900-H. I've seen them listed at Allied (alliedelec.com) as
recently as this summer. $2.42 in small quantity. Earlier panels also
used some larger knobs. As far as I know, the Davies knobs (or
something just like them) are still used.
