Regarding traveling with your Serge and portability, take a look in the yahoo group photo album for this list. Some of the members have Zero case mounted systems that look very nice and didn't require any hassle to install, I don't think. Other users have had success with custom made folding cases a la Buchla.

I've been learning synthesis for over a year and have built up a small studio. Originally I was pining for a Buchla but when I started to actually research my options I found the Serge instruments more intriguing, more musical and far more affordable to get started on. In the interest of brevity I won't go on much longer in this post. I'm glad to be here.
By the way, if anyone has an M-odule they might want to trade for a fully restored MS-20 please contact me off list at i.am.using.the.internets@... I'd love to get my hands on a creature or other small beast while I wait for my animal.
