It's mostly a matter of mechanics and design. If you look at the jack field
at the bottom of each of his modules, there simply isn't room to replace the
minis with bananas. He's got them packed in there pretty tight!
The only way to actually do it would to be to remount the module on a new
faceplate with room for the bananas. It would be a sacrilege to do that to
Grant's beautiful designs, me thinks! You could also add an additional
faceplate with the banana jacks on it and bring the wires over from the
original module.
There's also one more problem - many of the jacks on the Wiard modules are
normalized and passing a CV over to something else until a jack is inserted
to break the connection. Makes using bananas difficult - not impossible to
do, but difficult.
After a lot of consideration, any Wiard modules I acquire will pretty much
be "stand-alone" from the banana system I'm assembling!
