panel received

panel received

2005-01-05 by darkstr1746@comcast.net

Just received a new panel from the Wisconson shop. Cosmeticaly i think this is the best looking panel to come out of Hartland. Won't have time for a day or two for any comments on the functionality. The build quality is right where it should be.
from left to right:
ADSR(4) / DTG / DSG / CVM / 2ENV / BUFF
The DTG has this little mod: left half of the unit has a cycle switch and the left half has the "signal in" jack.
The ADSRs each have a switch that hardwires the "trigger in" jack to the "gate" jack of the "cycle" side of the DTG
A nice little personal touch that i didn't expect was that instead of the usual green lens of the module, each one has it's own color. So cool : )
Two of the ADSRs have a different chip in then that gives a faster response time of some sort. Rex gave it to me in detail, but my memory is shot so i can't ..... well, you know.... remember LOL!! I'll give a report when i've had some time to fool around with them. Sorry if a post like this annoys anyone. My main objective was to just let the list know that things are rolling off the bench in Hartland and that all is well.
kind regards

Not in the least. Please report back after you've taken it for a few
test runs...

I got mine a couple weeks ago as well! Super killer. I’m in love as this panel filled a bunch of holes in my final output/rendering setup. It is configured as:

MIX2 / 2VCA / MIX2 / XFAD / EQ / XFAD/ QUO / DTG / 2VCA / DCSM

*Way* too much fun. Also, if anyone was following along at home, the hard sync resistor value seems to be 3k for best sound and minimal (note I didn’t say none) core effects.

simply tell them i've gone out the window

for a spot of tea and am not

expected back any time soon.
