Quantizer Question

OK here's a very basic question.
Can anyone help me with the TKB Quantizer ins and outs?
The bottom half is self explanatory with scale select and outputs ABCD.
What do the 4 inputs and 4 outputs in the top half do?
On my Arp sequencer you can input voltages to change the pitch of a
sequence, does this relate to the Quantizer inputs?
As you have the quantized ABCD outputs and un-quantized outputs from the TKB
itself, what is the purpose behind the 4 (quantizer TKB) outputs?
