getting there

Hi all

I have finally had some time to go thru the Gold Book, well most of
it...one thing I am still unsure about.

I have the TKB - KP out to the DUSG Trig In, and I can hear an
attack/decay but i still have a continous drone underneath...how can
you stop the done part of the sound without an ADSR? ( I do have a
Doepfer Quad ADSR, but would like to try and do it in the Serge.

From the DUSG I was sending the output into either the Audio Mixer or
the UAP

if you have some audio coming into the UAP, and use
the DUSG output as the control input to the UAP (vc
1&2), you should be able to adjust the gain knob on
the UAP until the output is silent unless the DUSG is
triggered. make sure you have the UAP switch in the
correct position for the input and output you are
using. in this case i would use input 1 and output 1,
and set the switch for dual vca. hope that works for
you.

Wow this is strange. Last night i did what you said and the drone was
still there. This morning i decided it could be a dodgy DUSG so I used
another, and instantly it wrked! I then decided to go back to the
original DUSG and it also worked???

I am wrapped that stuff is starting to make sense, I read the Gold
book and sometimes I just tune out so it is great to get others input :-)
