sds-v knobs and other stuff

Hi! > To keep this relevant to Simmons I worry that Simmons products will become the preserve of non-musical collectors who will package them up rather than using them MUSICALLY. I also get a little ticked off with 'the "hack" Pro view' that the Simmons sound is jaded, trite, passe', unfashionable etc because as the SDS7 can demonstate the sounds are really as flexible powerful and dirty as you want to mix, process or crunch them. Amen! I missed an SDS-IV (yes, 4!) on Ebay last night. Anyone here who beat me to it? 257 pounds is expensive for 2 channels of analogue heaven... I've looked into the knobbusiness again as many of you wanted me to... There are (though quite expensive) knobs here in Sweden that looks EXACTLY like the original SDS-V knobs. They are 1.50 USD for a black knob and 0.50 USD for a grey knob cap with index in black. I can buy them here in town, but there is additional postage offcourse if you want them mailed. I'd appreciate if all interested could let me know soon and I could buy all knobs/caps at the same time. I'm registered with paypal and if you are too that's the easiest way I think... I'd also appreciate if noone orders a whole box just to sell them at Ebay... Then I'd rather do that myself...! electronically yours, jesper http://www.bolina.hsb.se/hsidor/jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ------ ----- ---- --- -- - Electronic Obsession Mailorder http://obsession.svart.nu
