But how does it work then? Can you for example plug the shit into a normal
midi and record the midi messages in Cubase or is it a PC-only thingy?

It sure looks crappy and cool but if I should buy one I would want to use it
too!

Make no mistake - it's totally a toy, but it's fun just to mess 
around with. The cable has a mini stereo plug on one end and the 
other hooks up to a joystick port. I haven't tried using it with any 
REAL audio software; maybe I should see if that's even possible. 

The best uses for the DrumX would be if you "played" a laptop as a 
live instrument, or if you could use it with other software 
(especially for someone who writes their own programs: better 
software for it would be great!)

I'll reinstall the program and upload some screenshots for you.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
