Re: [Simmons Drums] separate outs

Re: [Simmons Drums] separate outs

I don't have an SDS V, but the following information is in my SDS 7 manual:

Serial numbers 0 - 250 are wired:
 Pin 1 and 2 Ground
 Pin 3 Hot

Serial numbers 250 and onwards (this is a quote...who knows exactly how serial number 250 is wired :-)
 Pin 1 and 3 Ground
 Pin 2 Hot

So, my guess would be that the SDS V probably follows the same wiring configuration as the early SDS 7's.

Just my 2 cents.

Vince

  Hi dudes!

I'm rigging for separate outs on my SDS-V - there is some weird posting about this on synthsite, but can anyone here tell me which is which, i e 1-2-3, hot-cold-ground, tip-ring-sleeve etc.

  Any help appreciated!

Thnks a lot Vince - it's a start at least. I'd rather receive good guesses than nothing at all! ;)
