I think it's clear that Andrew and I have had our experience with various 
sequencers, but there's been something lacking from all of them.

If we're guessing right that Brice is looking to do some sort of a control 
interface with the PSIM as a brain, then I think it's valid to make up 
wishlists.

The closest thing I've seen to heaven in a sequencer yet is Colin Fraser's 
P3 project (http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/analogue-sequencer/).

... I have one on the bench waiting to be built.

Now, that box is _VERY_ powerful and Colin's continuing to add features. 
But, it's MIDI and is either overkill or won't work for "simple" stuff like 
firing off a string of beats, or creating a complex wave generator, or a 
complex EG.

Yeup... That becomes a real beauty point here. Design the right controller 
interface and then let the users (easily) write code to let it drive the 
brain as they see fit.
