Re: SynthModules PSIM-1 Order Deadline

Okay everyone. The SynthModules PSIM-1 PCB's and Front Panels have been
ordered. I ordered a few extra just in case... but the number of modules is
now set in stone and those remaining are limited in number. If you want to
guarantee you get one... please order now.

To those of you that have already placed your orders, the expected delivery
date on the PCB's to me is March 17th. At that point, I'll begin assembly.
The panels should be here the same day as well. I will be attending the
AHMW gathering on the 20th. If any of you that have already ordered are
going to be there... *let me know* and if everything is delivered to me on
time... I'll try my best (no promises though because I do have to sleep
sometimes) to get yours built in time to bring it with me.

Thank you in advance.

Re: SynthModules PSIM-1 Questions

2004-03-02 by djbrow54

I'm somewhat interested in this module. I have a couple of questions.

Is there a manual available? I would like to understand the capabilities and extensiveness of the programming.

Is the memory non-volatile or do I have to program it everytime I turn it on?

Re: SynthModules PSIM-1 Questions

Dave,

The manual comes with the PSIM-1 module. It is copyrighted material
since it contains the schematics so only those that purchase the PSIM-
1 module have access to the manual. It cannot be uploaded or
distributed by anyone other than myself. However, please see
the "Links" section of the group's site for links to the programming
manual for the BasicATOMPRO. Between that, the example code that is
already online in the "Files" section, and the sample MP3's... you
should be able to get a good idea of what the PSIM-1 is capable of
doing.

The program remains in memory until it is overwritten. So, you can
program the module and unplug the RS232 cable until the next time you
want to make a change. You can power it on and off all you want and
the program will remain in memory until it is overwritten.

Thank you for your interest.
