We've had a few serious ZOe challenges lately, for example we have some absolutely stunning circuit boards here and I'm happy to say that they fit the front panel and all of the components perfectly, there's just one thing however... The 50-pin main connector was laid out in a mirror image of what it was supposed to be, (which is a fancy way of saying it was totally Backwards!) Another surprise is that we somehow misjudged the depth of the entire assembly and after assembling one completely we found it to be a half inch too deep to fit the Buchla boats, (metal enclosures). This all seemed like a serious set-back until we thought through the situation and realized that by swapping around a few components we might actually be ok if we use a 50-pin IDC ribbon cable assembly in place of a circuit board, and put a flip in the cable to correct the reversed connector. We believe this would also solve the depth problem, so I had to research and order new part numbers and we're presently putting the pieces together very methodically to be sure we get it right. We want to get everything absolutely perfect because after all... these are going into ~Buchla~ cabinets, and it will be an honor to have them along side Don's finest.
