Cyndustries also makes the Zeroscillator in standard 19" standalone versions! Either a single in 1U or a dual in 2U. I assume they have internal power supplies but I don't know anything else about them. Unless you have a VCA, it will keep sending out a signal as long as it's powered up. Unless you have a midi to CV converter, your midi keyboard will do nothing to the ZO. Unless you have another oscillator, you will not hear any "FM synthesis" and it will be little more than an oscillator with quadrature outputs (4 outputs, each 90 degrees off in phase). Unless you have a correct modular power supply, it will not even plug into the wall or use batteries. I highly recommend reading up on modular synths, and you should get an idea how to use a ZO in your own music.
