Re: Worth the wait....

I'd have to agree. I understand that everyone wants what they've paid for... and I also understand that it's quite easy for me to say that... considering that I've got mine. But in any situation, I do try to see it from the other perspective, and ask myself 'how I would fair, if I had to manage it'... and, I'm not at all sure that I could even come close. It might be a different story if there was some reason to think that the reason everybody didn't have their ZO's yet, was because of 'slacking'... but- I don't believe that... not one little bit... and I don't think anyone else really thinks that, either.
I have no doubt that Cynthia is doing everything in her power to please everyone as quickly as possible (and, that IS a job). If that's just not good enough... then consider the old saying... "nothing worthwhile comes easily". The ZO's will get to their new homes... have faith.

Indeed. Those who haven't had a parent die, had to move a entire business operation, keep books, order parts, do payroll and taxes, and put out the hundreds of fires that come up on a weekly basis and still ship product to whining, sniveling musicians, you should take a deep breath take two steps back and wait some more. Yes it's mildly frustrating not getting your toys when you have been told delivery is coming shortly. But your gonna get 'em. This is the same bollocks whining that went down on the Serge list six years ago. Unless your willing to relocate to southern Cal, grab a soldering gun and help out, it's in your own best interest to find even more patience.
............Now, where's my freaking Milton??? ROFLMAO!!!!

I am one of the lucky ones who has had two Zeroscillators (from the
first batch) for some time. They are definitely worth the wait.
Sure, you can use a Zeroscillator as a standard oscillator; however, I
find that they are the most fun when they are thoroughly abused. You
can throw a miriad of sources at this sucker and it keeps burping and
squawking! I have coaxed sounds that I have never heard from ANY
oscillator using feedback patches and unusual modulation sources.

I can understand the annoyance with lack of communication and the
anticipation of the yet-to-be-determined ship dates. Not to nitpick
too much, but this board has become the Zeroscillator gripe session as
of late. Has anyone seriously not been able to make music without
their long awaited Zeroscillator? This is a boutique, hand made
module...these things take time. The Zero is also not the only
offering from Cyndustries. I subscribed hoping to hear about
interesti ng patches people have come up with on their Quad Lowpass
Gates and raspy Synthacon filters.

It's been a hard year for Cynthia; when everyone has their long
awaited modules in their hands, let's give her (and her team) some kudos.
