Agreed, and well put: DX7 with analog warmth hits it on the head. The
second demo shows a nasty side to it, too.
Recall that there are no filters or anything other than a VCA post VCO
in these patches (except a little reverb after the VCA). The timbral
range is pretty amazing.
Now the problem is that I want a few more...
