I've always tried Babblefishing to have conversation with Japanese people
like Eri - although it has strange results...the ultimate in 'Chinese
Whispers'...

In English, his name is Masami Takeuchi (Masami is the first name, Takeuchi
the family name) - but in Japan the first/surname are the other way around.
So you would address him as Masami.  (mass-arm-me).  This clash-of-cultures
and altered meanings with the theremin we joked around with on the notorious
'Ether Disco' sketch in which Takeuchi (sic) addresses Miss Kavina as 'Mrs
Lydia, sir!'.
