Welcome to Aetherphon, the ultimate theremin community where performers and admirers of all skill levels and styles can come together and discuss our experiences and performances in an open, non-judgmental environment. This list is administered by a human being to prevent spam but is otherwise not moderated.

The theremin is the most maddening and most fulfilling of musical instruments. The most prominent space-controlled musical instrument has been dazzling onlookers and baffling musicians since the late 1910's, when Lev Termen himself demonstrated it for Vladimir Lenin.

So if you are an accomplished thereminist, a journeyman or apprentice, an enthusiast of music produced with the instrument, or just starting off (as I am, what I playfully call a "woo-woo-ist") then consider making Aetherphon your artistic touchstone.
