AETHERPHON, global theremin family

Hello to all.

At the urging of my daughter Susan and some folks that are on this  
list, I set up a myspace account.  If you are familiar with myspace  
you already know how much fun it is to learn about the musical efforts  
of people all over the world.

Out of curiosity I did a search for all the music listings (so called  
"band" accounts) within 5 miles of my zip code.   After all, there  
must be a few other musicians around here.  Guess how many listings I  
got?

Got one-hundred ninety listings.  Amazing!  And, within twenty miles  
there are nearly five-thousand listings!

Some listings are more active than others.  In fact, over half the  
listings were probably made by someone who created their listing on a  
whim: no musical examples, no pics, no friends list, etc.  Still, if  
you discount the inactive accounts, you still come up with an amazing  
number of musicians.

Doing a search on the word "Theremin" produced hundreds of listings  
and myspace tends to timeout on me quite a bit... so to go thru the  
list has been time-consuming.   If you are on myspace, will you send  
me a "friend request"?  http://www.myspace.com/kkissinger .  And post  
some of your music, too.  To hear what you, my Theremin colleagues,  
are doing is a great inspiration.
