Theremin ringtones

2006-10-04 by Ann Cantelow

Hi everybody.

It's been quiet here, lately. Just thought I'd share some little
ringtones I made with multi-track theremin. They're just little 13-sec.
or so mp3 files, at a little under 300 KB each.

They can be browsed at my http://www.cantelow.com site, or for direct
links to each:

I have no idea how they actually get into people's phones. I suspect my
own phone might be too low-tech to handle their size, wonder if I should
have tried to make them smaller. BTW, anyone has my permission to use
these non-commercially.

At any rate, I had fun thinking what would sound good to get one's
attention to answer the phone. Little bursts of sound that say, "Hey,
someone wants to talk to you!" I hope others will also do ringtones, I
think theremins are a natural for it!
