Bryan, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The Presonus is a fine piece of equipment. Your computer must be equipped with a firewire port, though. If Philip's computer has a firewire port, then the Presonus would work well. If Philip only has a USB port, he could find a smaller (two channel) interface. USB has plenty of bandwidth for a couple of channels.
