The simplest way to rip it is through the a-hole. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analog_hole Use a cable with minijacks at each end to connect the audio out to the audio in (assuming your computer has line-in and not mic-in.) Then play and record. If you have a Mac the free utility SoundFlower allows you to do the same thing digitally, so no pointless d/a a/d conversions involved. http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower If you want to be a bit more sophisticated and be able to hear what you are recording then the shareware application Audio Hijack Pro will let you rip anything. http://rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/ I imagine similar utilities are available for Windows and Linux.
