Sorry - late to party again. Gordon - what you did with Hands Off 2007 was marvellous and exceeded all expectations. I think you're wrong the CC would stop a 2nd event of that scale taking place, but you know your comfort limits and I don't doubt the theremin jam weekend would be marvellous in a very different kind of way. It's probably not my particular bag to do it as a project, but make sure there's the Sunday concert for friends/jounralists/music lovers to come along and hear something and network a bit - that's invaluable. I'd also think about how it would work practically - if the idea of a jam is usually lots of different instruments, is it really advantageous is EVERYONE plays theremin? I remember how tricky the little session at Bruce Woolley's was with just 5 of us to co-ordinate something musical, but then we were pulling in the two different electronic v classical ground so that was a bit different.
