A press release and good news from New York based experimental musician and
thereminist, Eric Ross:

      Eric Ross is guest artist on the No.1 charted CD in Japan. He plays
theremin, guitar and synthesizer on Aqi Fzono's "Cosmology". It broke in at
No.5 ranking just two days after it was released. It went to  No.1 and
remained there for the entire month of May '06 according to the CGI Heavy
Seller ranking compiled each day, week and month.
       Fzono, a synthesist and orchestral composer has had several hits in
Japan in the past.  This time Cosmix Records immediately added an Eric Ross
webpage in Japanese linked to Fzono's many fan websites. It introduces Ross
as an " important man in the electronic music world and theremin music
pioneer" Ross has performed concerts of his original works at Lincoln
Center, Kennedy
 Center, and at major international jazz festivals including Newport,
Berlin, Montreux, North Sea and Copenhagen among many others. He often
performs multimedia concerts with his wife, video artist, Mary Ross.
