Has anyone seen this thereminist anywhere?

was doing some searching on google and came up with this -- I'm not that up to date on all
the vintage theremin film clips so it was new to me.

You Asked For It - Episode ten
(1950) - B&W - 27 min

A great clip from "you asked for it." Couldn't quite catch her name.

She's got that theremin tuned way low, like a cello.

Vic,
That is wonderful! Thank you for telling us about this clip. Her name
is Paula Mary. I had to search in different ways to figure that out,
because I thought he said Willa Merrit :-)

Her playing method is very interesting. Her volume hand is so
animated, and she uses her own style of ariel fingering.

You made my night!

Excellent. Love the volume hand - snakey!

And how kind of him to spell "theremin" for us. T-h-e-r-a-m-i-n.

I had a bit of trouble with the accent. Did she really dedicate the
song "Dying Alone" to a viewer?

I'm just off to Jimbo's Fine Art Hut now, gonna buy me some fine art...
