New Keppinger Pix. The oscillator chassis is coming along nicely.

Philip,

Your work on the Keppinger theremin is superb -- very tidy. Your
theremin will be a work of art both inside and out.

Love those glowing vacuum tubes, too.

I'm working on a lot of faith here. I've only heard one sound sample so
I have really no idea how this sucker will sound!!! But everyone raves!
I've got an architect friend who is making me some RCA reproduction
antennas for it from brass tube stock on his lathe.

Whip Antennae?

2007-08-17 by carvin knowles

Many years ago, when I was gigging at clubs weekly
with my Big Briar Etherwave, I had problems with
drunken dancers running into my theremin. Once or
twice I had to solder it back together after some
mishap or another.

So I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of or
found fibreglass whip antennae, such as you see on
police cars and emergency vehicles, for the theremin.

I would buy such an antennae if it worked. It would
make gigging much more worry-free.

Just wondering....

Carvin
