Keppinger oscillator Chassis Sputtering Along

Well, the oscillator chassis is "working" as of late Sunday evening. No smoke, sparks, or spectacular goings on when the power switch was thrown. The Keppinger is making sounds, but it still has some bugs and intermittent issues to work out/troubleshoot. I've been assured by those "in the know" that this is perfectly normal for this type of electronic gear that uses vacuum tubes! When I get it working up to specs (I hope) and am satisfied with it electronically, the cabinetry will be next. I'm going to use 3/4" birch with traditional brass antennas. Philip Neidlinger
