theremin gig ideas

Hi Phil
Wow Ships of the Sea and Meat Packing Factories - crazy places to play
theremin! If you're playing background - I'd say just jam along to things
you already know or can do karaoke style - some sea shanties too of course!
The drawback is 2 hours is really TOO much - both for you to play and for
the audience to listen to. See if you can pair it down to do 45 min sets
the same, then you'd stand a chance of getting a well rehearsed set
together. Below is my old set list which I used for corporate events and
weddings to give you a few ideas.

Good luck!

Re: theremin gig ideas

SCAD's MEAT is really a cool place. Its part of the Savannah College
of Art and Design....its now the Meddin Emerging Artists Theater. I
also have a demo sometime early spring for my son's elementary music
classes.

Things are picking up here. Thanks for the set ideas. If you are on
Facebook, join us at the group Savannah Theremin and Electronic
Music, or search for my name and you'll find us. Already pushing 30
people and its generating lots of interest.
