Try outs

Try outs

2009-08-18 by Philip

I met with the director of Ships of the Sea Museum to give him a preview of my theremin and my playing. He was impressed! I played "Moon River" and "As Time Passes By".

So, with this last hurdle out of the way, all that remains is to work on my selections and find a tux.

That's fantastic, Philip - good luck with this, I am sure it is going to
be excellent. In fact, I wish I could be there, it looks great. This
could lead to lots of exciting stuff in the future.

This gets so much easier every time I go out in public. Total self confidence. I demo'd the "rub your tummy and head technique" that makes a good theremin player. A while ago, I was unable to do this. Its second nature. They are going to make a large banner at the museum with MY NAME on it. I reminded Tony I was a "ONE L" Philip.

I am having the time of my life. The venue is an incredibly beautiful place in historic downtown Savannah. I'll be sure to take a lot of photographs.
