Here is one I found via Google - but this one is expensive

As I read in a Forum the Akai inverter converts from +5V.
So inverters from 5V to 300VAC should work.

There are also electronic inverters that should be more silent:

Can anyone recommend a part number to use as a replacement inverter?

My S1000 is emitting a high-pitched whine sound, and the consensus on the boards seems to be that it's an inverter issue.
