Only these which AKAI in brackets after the products name if you want to load and play samples and programs !

For samples in other formats only, you have to convert these w/ maybe "Extreme Sample Converter" into S_1000/3000 format and to create your own programs, - lot of work !

Be shure to have the latest S-1000 OS in ROM or on a floppy disk inserted in the drive.

The OS on the disk will override the maybe older OS in the AKAIs ROM.

You´ll need lates OS for reading AKAI S-3000 format w/ AKAI S-1000 and some of the CD-ROMs are in S-3000 format.
